Spring Camp Corporate Social Responsibility

Tilburg Sustainability Center welcomed academics and practioners to explore CSR
On March 26-27, the Tilburg University campus turned into a playground for CSR-experts as the Tilburg Sustainability Center hosted its 2014 Spring Camp on Corporate Social Responsibility. Academics and practioners in the field joined the conference at which various aspects of CSR were scrutinized.

Speakers at the Spring Camp included George Serafeim, Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, and former Dutch prime minister Jan-Peter Balkenende.

The two-day conference was centered around three main topics:

  • Reporting and Standard Setting
  • Valuation of Sustainability
  • Implementing a CSR-strategy

Jan van der Kaaij, managing partner Finch & Beak, joined the panel discussion on the latter subject.
