Reporting 3.0 Conference 2014

Reporting at the crossroads - ensuring purpose, practicability and performance
Reporting 3.0 is the international multi-stakeholder platform for the Future of Sustainability Reporting. On 6 and 7 October 2014 the platform organizes the second edition of their annual conference in Berlin. During two days organizations, participants, ideas, and topics are brought together, to examine the status quo of reporting and its further development. Collecting new perspectives and combine them to jointly enhance their impact, are the main features of the Reporting 3.0 event.

The Reporting 3.0 event will be hosted by Finch & Beak' partner, BSD Consulting Germany. Last year, the theme 'The Future of Sustainability Reporting' became a comprehensive stock-taking during the conference, mainly caused by the launch of the new GRI G4 framework in May 2013. International attention and importance for the topic is still enourmous, as companies are starting with the implementation of the new GRI G4 guidelines.

Addressing the complexity of sustainability reporting

Aiming at proactively accompanying international discourse on the topic, and providing valuable impetus for its further development, attendees will address in the two-day conference the complexity of sustainabilty reporting consistenly by following one of the 3 core themes for the conference, in order to respond to the complexity of this topic on different impact levels:

  • Impacting the world: defining ambitions, metrics and data needed for future-ready reporting strategies.
  • Impacting the company: using future-ready information to integrate sustainability strategies on all levels of the company.
  • Impacting stakeholders: satisfying stakeholders' demand for information

The Reporting 3.0 event seeks to highlight relevant developments, to identify potential paths for the future, and to point out specific implications for companies and decision makers.
