Sustainability professional that aims to inspire and wishes to be inspired. |

Having lived abroad during my childhood, I got the opportunity to see the wonders of the world but also the inequalities and the strains that our way of living has on the environment. This has motivated me to pursue a career in helping companies accelerate sustainability.
My background:

  • Obtained a MSc in Strategic Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands
  • Wrote my master thesis about the influence of CSR engagement on the innovative performance of ports, comparing the port of Rotterdam and the port of Singapore
  • Started my career in the maritime industry as a consultant for Maersk Line and the Port of Rotterdam, and later on explored the world of fruit and vegetables as a project manager at The Greenery.
  • I am currently obtaining my corporate trainer’s degree so that I can lead (online) workshops more effectively

Colleagues would describe me as:
Openminded, spontaneous and committed

Which book should everybody read:
Ons Creatieve Brein by Dick Swaab. This is a must-read if you want to understand how the interaction of the brain with our surroundings makes us human!

Best advice I ever got:
Stop playing safe and be a little more of a rebel.

Something surprising about me:
I used to be a competitive swimmer, now I swim for fun.

What I do for fun:

  • Go out for dinner (or order-in during COVID-19 times) and try new kinds of food
  • Exploring new countries and cultures
  • Swimming, boxing and indoor wall climbing
