Passionate young sustainability professional, keen to give impulses and ideas towards a more sustainable economy. nathalie@finchandbeak.com
During my Bachelor thesis about environmental concerns in the fashion industry I gained in-depth knowledge of the effects and long-term consequences actions in industry can have on the environment and society. Through my master's thesis on fin whales in the Mediterranean and fishing, my passion was awakened again to get involved in sustainability in order to reinforce my personal commitment to the field.
My background:
Colleagues would describe me as:
Organised, passionate, idealistic and reliable.
Which book should everybody read:
“The nature of nature – why we need the wild” by Enric Sala. It is an inspiring book about the importance and also the beauty of nature and it explains with attention to detail the interrelated factors in the ecosystems of our world. I can identify with the book because, in addition to the scientific facts, Sala's love for nature becomes clear and this is an important motivator for him, and for me, to protect and preserve our planet.
Best advice I ever got:
Expect everything – also the beautiful things in life.
Something surprising about me:
I have an Uruguayan accent when I am speaking Spanish.
