Sustainability professional who wants to support companies and organizations to tackle ESG challenges, with the ambition to create a sustainable future. | valeria@finchandbeak.com

We, as a society, are facing new threats and opportunities due to climate change and poor resource management. My goal as a professional is to work on the different challenges that companies encounter and help them reduce their negative impact on their surrounding environment and enhance their sustainable development.

My background:

  • Master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies of environmental, social and economic sustainability
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration and management
  • Climate Change and Sustainability consultancy at EY (Sustainable Finance) and at Crowe.

Colleagues would describe me as:
Positive, enthusiastic and supportive.

Which book should everybody read:
Prisoners of geography - Tim Marshall. It illustrates the importance of geography in our economy and our lives. Countries constrained by rivers mountains and desert have used their political, human and natural resources at their disposal, to forge ahead and break free from the restraints of geography.

Best advice I ever got:
"What would you do if you were not afraid to fail?'

Something surprising about me:
I have played the saxophone since I was 10 years old.

What I do for fun:

  • Doing sports such as running, snowboarding and yoga
  • Travelling
  • Spending time in nature, hiking and swimming
