Enthusiastic professional aiming to support companies in improving their commitment to sustainability. | marie@finchandbeak.com

As I realized the central role of businesses in the fight against climate change, environmental degradation and social inequality, my interest in sustainability matters grew. Thus, I embarked on a very rewarding educational adventure through which I gained valuable insights into how businesses can better embrace sustainability and the benefits they can derive from it. Excited to put my knowledge into practice, I am committed through my professional career at Finch & Beak to support companies, whether big or small, to integrate sustainability into their core strategy and operations in order to maintain their social license to operate.

My background:

  • Internships at Tecnoambiente, Spain and Veolia, France in sustainability consulting and operational sustainability
  • MSc Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona
  • MSc Environment and Resource Management, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, IAE Gustave Eiffel
  • Fluent in French and English and intermediate Spanish speaker

Colleagues would describe me as:
Diligent, enthusiastic, open-minded and curious.

Which book should everybody read:
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery – a powerful short novel to help us, kids and adults alike, remind what is really important in life and to teach us timeless life lessons.

Best advice I ever got:
Don’t ever stop learning and growing as a person.

Something surprising about me:
I ran in cross-country races at French national level during five years.

What I do for fun:

  • Exploring new places and what nature has to offer
  • Sharing a nice meal with friends and family
  • Running and yoga
