Maria Almenar has an extensive background in chemical engineering, management, and sustainability. Starting in Barcelona's petrochemical industry, Maria's professional journey continued with key roles in Brussels, including at the European Commission's REACH unit and at the European Association of Chemical Distributors (FECC). Since 2013, Maria is part of Azelis and in her current role, she is responsible for all SHEQ, product stewardship, and sustainability-related activities for the Azelis Group across the EMEA, APAC, and Americas regions.
