ESG Acceleration Webinar: Materiality Activation

Materiality activation: ownership, actorship and more
This webinar dealt with the challenge of generating real change while implementing sustainability. Together with guest speaker Rebecca Dunn, Head of Sustainability at Spectris, we explored how to transform the materiality assessment from a reporting tool to an accelerator for the activation of your sustainability program.

Guest speaker Rebecca Dunn, Head of Sustainability at Spectris, will share her experiences of developing a materiality matrix and using it as a steppingstone to set up and drive a sustainability program in a heavily decentralized organization.

From Finch & Beak's end, materiality expert Bas Nuijten will talk about strategy development and action planning departing from the matrix, and how to overcome hurdles along the way.

Elevating the materiality matrix to activate your sustainability program

Key lessons to be learned during the session include how to:

  • Using the materiality assessment as a means to identify challenges and ideate solutions together with stakeholders
  • Departing from the material topics to (re-)define your focus areas for acceleration and strengthen your ESG performance
  • Accelerating the implementation of the sustainability strategy by activating internal stakeholders throughout the organization
