The Reputation Institute’s 17th International Conference on Corporate Reputation, Brand Identity and Competitiveness took place on June 5-7 in Barcelona. Telenet: reputation and CSR performance in practice

On behalf of Finch & Beak, managing partner Jan van der Kaaij discussed the link between corporate reputation and CSR performance in a workshop setting, using the Telenet case study, on Wednesday June 5th.

Telenet, the challenger brand in the Belgian Telecom market, has been a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index since 2011. In 2012, Telenet became one of the 19 supersector leaders in the world; bringing them in the club of brands such as AkzoNobel, Siemens, Iberdrola and AirFrance-KLM.  During a workshop session, Jan demonstrated how external benchmarking such as DJSI and RepTrak covers both the “actual CSR performance” and the “perceived CSR performance”.

Other companies represented by speakers at the conference included Telefónica, Allianz, Iberdrola, Correos, ING DIRECT, Petrobras and C&A Brazil. For more information, check out the conference program or view the full list of speakers.
