Successful first edition of GLOBE-US Innovation Lab in Brussels

Exploring new ways to derive value from sustainability
The GLOBE-US Innovation Lab is a place where people share their ideas, thoughts and inspirations about sustainable business modelling. What are the vital ingredients for a successful sustainable business model? And how does innovation come into play? On October 22nd, 2013 the kick-off of GLOBE-US Innovation Lab took place in Brussels, Belgium.

GLOBE-US Innovation Lab

The GLOBE-US Innovation Lab is a first step towards a community that enables senior managers to share in-depth knowledge of value creation from sustainable business modeling. In order to support organizations in the conception of sustainability as a key element of their business strategy, we developed GLOBE-US. This process tool finds its basis in the Business Model Generation-approach of Osterwalder and Pigneur and embraces new developments in sustainability such as GRI G4 and Creating Shared Value.

At the first edition of innovation lab, held on October 22nd in Brussels, participants from companies including DSM, Heineken, Unilever, KBC, Vopak and Ziggo and the Finch & Beak team scrutinized the relations between sustainability, innovation and value creation.
