Special guest presenter Virginie Delcroix, VP Sustainable Development at Arkema, will share insights on how the company's recent double-materiality assessment engaged its key stakeholders, helped to sharpen the sustainability program and to connect to the business strategy.
Maximizing the value of your materiality assessment
Finch & Beak’s view is that a materiality assessment is a vital starting point to determine your organizations’ value drivers.
Bas Nuijten, Director Consulting and materiality expert from Finch & Beak will discuss most relevant and urgent reporting updates and in particular those of EFRAG (European Financial Reporting Advisory Group) to consider just in time to identify priorities for 2023 with the new reporting season starting soon. In addition to the overview of the updates, he will touch upon the implications for organizations and provide helpful materiality activation tips.
In April EFRAG issued the first draft of sustainability reporting standards for public comment. The new rules are part of Europe’s proposed Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which could be enacted into law as early as the end of 2022.
